...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of western Alfalfa
County through 1215 AM CDT...

At 1155 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 4 miles southwest of Kiowa to 7 miles west of
Ingersoll to 5 miles west of Carmen. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Cherokee, Carmen, Burlington, Amorita, Byron, Lambert, Ingersoll, and
Driftwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor NOAA Weather
Radio, local radio stations or available television stations for
additional information and possible warnings from the National
Weather Service.
