A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
TO NOON CST THURSDAY.

* EVENT: FOUR TO SIX INCHES OF SNOW IS LIKELY IN WESTERN OKLAHOMA
  BEFORE MID-DAY THURSDAY. SOME AREAS NEAR THE TEXAS BORDER
  BETWEEN ARNETT AND SAYRE COULD RECEIVE MORE.

* TIMING: SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN LATE THIS AFTERNOON NEAR THE
  TEXAS BORDER OF WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND SPREAD EAST THROUGH THE
  NIGHT. SNOW WILL LIKELY END MID-DAY THURSDAY.

* MAIN IMPACT: ACCUMULATION WILL OCCUR FOR SEVERAL HOURS FIRST ON
  GRASS AND ELEVATED VEGETATION. LATER THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT...
  THE GROUND WILL HAVE COOLED SUFFICIENTLY TO ALLOW ACCUMULATION
  ON ROADWAYS AND BARE SURFACES. DRIVING ON I-40 WEST OF CLINTON
  LATE TONIGHT AND THURSDAY WILL LIKELY BECOME DIFFICULT.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NORMAN HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT
TONIGHT TO NOON CST THURSDAY.

* EVENT: ONE TO FOUR INCHES OF SNOW WILL INITIALLY ACCUMULATE ON
  GRASSY AND ELEVATED SURFACES. AFTER THE GROUND COOLS LATER
  TONIGHT, SOME SNOW MAY ACCUMULATE ON BARE GROUND AND ROADWAYS.

* TIMING: MIDNIGHT UNTIL NOON THURSDAY.

* MAIN IMPACT: DRIVING EARLY THURSDAY MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS FROM
  SNOW ON ROADWAYS. TEMPERATURES WILL BE VERY NEAR FREEZING.
