...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTH CENTRAL SCOTT...NORTH
CENTRAL NEW MADRID AND SOUTHEASTERN STODDARD COUNTIES THROUGH 145 AM
CDT...

At 1257 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Essex to near Bernie. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Sikeston, Dexter, Bernie, Morehouse, Essex, Canalou, Baker, and
Penermon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
