THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH PA HAS CONFIRMED A
TORNADO NEAR LIMESTONE IN CLARION COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA ON
18 JUNE 2014.

DAMAGE ALONG THE ENTIRE PATH CONSISTED PRIMARILY OF SNAPPED LIMBS
AND SNAPPED/UPROOTED HARDWOOD TREES. POCKETS OF MORE CONCENTRATED
DAMAGE OCCURRED...WHERE NUMEROUS TREES WERE SNAPPED OR UPROOTED.
THE DEBRIS FIELD EXHIBITED A CONSISTENT CONVERGENT PATTERN ALONG
THE ENTIRE PATH.

STRUCTURAL DAMAGE ATTRIBUTED TO THE WIND OCCURRED ALONG PARADISE
ROAD...WHERE A BARN WAS DESTROYED AND THE SECOND-FLOOR DECK ROOF
ON A DIFFERENT HOME WAS RIPPED OFF AND DEPOSITED DOWNWIND. AT THIS
LATTER LOCATION...A 6X6 POST WAS IMPALED SEVERAL FEET INTO THE
DOWNWIND-FACING SIDE OF THE HOME ROOF.

AFTER REVIEW OF THE DAMAGE...RADAR AND FIRSTHAND ACCOUNTS...THE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS CONFIRMED THAT A TORNADO OF EF-0
INTENSITY OCCURRED WITH THE WEDNESDAY NIGHT PASSAGE OF THE LINE OF
THUNDERSTORMS. DAMAGE WAS CONSISTENT WITH WIND OF UP TO 80 MPH.
