Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Light rain and drizzle fell across the region during the past 24
hours. Rainfall across most of the region ranged from 0.10 to
0.75 inches. Across our far western counties in Ohio, rainfall
ranged up to 1.00 inches.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall is forecast to range from a trace to 0.75
inches. The highest amounts are forecast across the Southern
Mountains of Western Pennsylvania and the Northern Mountains of
West Virginia.

River trends...
A general rise is expected on all district rivers over the next
48 hours in response to the recent snow-melt and the the recent
as well as forecast rainfall. Action stages are expected to be
reached at Grays Landing, Elizabeth, The Point in Pittsburgh and
Wellsburg. No flooding is forecast.
