Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Scattered light snow fell across portions of Eastern Ohio,
Southwest Pennsylvania and much of Northern West Virginia. The
liquid equivalent of the snow was 0.10 inches or less.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is
forecast to range from 0.25 to 0.75 inches across Eastern Ohio
and Western Pennsylvania.

Across northern West Virginia and Garrett County Maryland, the
basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is
forecast to range from 0.50 to nearly 1.00 inch.

River trends...
The district rivers will change little over the next 48 hours as
most of the anticipated precipitation is expected to be frozen.

Some river gauges in the Allegheny, Muskingum, Cheat and Youghiogheny
River basins are being affected by ice and may not accurately
reflect current conditions.

During flooding the latest crest updates may be obtained in river
Flood Warnings /PITFLWPBZ/ or river flood statements /PITFLSPBZ/.
