Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Basin average rainfall ranged from 0.10 to 0.50. There were
isolated higher amounts, in thunderstorms, over northwestern
Pennsylvania of up to an inch and in east central Ohio of up to
2.50 inches

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall is forecast to range from 0.10 to 0.75 inches.

River trends...
Area rivers are expected to rise in response to recent and forecast
rainfall. A general 1-2 feet rise is expected along th Allegheny,
Monongahela, and Ohio rivers, with slightly higher rises on the Youghiogheny.
Points currently above action stage on the Tuscarawas and the Muskingum rivers will
continue to crest and begin to fall over the next 48 hours.
