Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Over the past 24 hours, light snow and some freezing rain and ice
pellets fell across the region. Precipitation was generally light
with liquid equivalent precipitation amounts 0.10 inches or less.

Forecast precipitation for the next 72 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from 0.50 to 1.50 inches. The highest amounts are forecast
across the northern tier counties of Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania.

River trends...
Area rivers will rise significantly over the next 72 hours in
response to the forecast precipitation. Some locations along the
Allegheny river are expected to reach action stages. No flooding
is forecast.
