Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Area precipitation amounts ranged from 0.10 to around 1.00 inch
over the past 24 hour period. Precicpitation totals decreased
from northwest to southeast during the period.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from 0.10 to 0.75 inches. The higher precipitation amounts
will occur over the Monongahela River Basin.

River trends...
In response to recent and forecast rainfall, the Ohio River will see
rises of two to around seven feet during the period. All other rivers
will experience fluctuations of one to two feet. A few forecast points
on the lower Allegheny River and the upper Ohio River remain above
action stage. All rivers will crest by Friday and begin receeding over
the weekend.
