Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Only some light snow and rain fell across the Upper Allegheny basin.
While the remainder of the river basins received from forty-four hundredths
to one inch ofrainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from nine-tenths /0.90/ to one and one-third /1.30/ inches.

River trends...
The district river levels are expected to rise sharply over the next 48 hours in
response to the recent and anticipated precipitation. The Monongahela and  Youghiogheny rivers are expected to reach action stages, no flooding is
expected.
