Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Heaviest precipitation was mainly over our counties south of the
Mason-Dixon line which ranged from one-quarter /0.25/ to one /1.00/ inch.
The remainder of the forecast area received just a few hundredths
of an inch.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from a trace to one-tenth of an inch.

River trends...
Due to the heavy rain over the Upper Monongahela and Upper Cheat basins
a new crest is working its way towards Pittsburgh. This new crest will keep
river levels slightly elevated through Monday.
