Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...Up to 0.25 inch liquid equivalent fell
to the south of Pittsburgh, and 0.25 to 0.75 of liquid equivalent
was reported to the north.

Forecast precipitation for the next 48 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is forecast
to range from 0.50 to 1.50 inches.  The higher amounts are expected
across the northern tier counties of Eastern Ohio and Western
Pennsylvania.

River trends...
A significant rise is expected over the next 72 hours in response to
the forecast precipitation.  Some locations along the Allegheny River
are expected to reach action stages, as is New Philadelphia on the
Tuscarawas River in Ohio.  No flooding is forecast.
