DAILY RIVER FORECAST

LIGHT RAIN FELL ACROSS PORTIONS OF OUR CWA DURING THE PAST 24 HOURS.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS RANGED FROM A TRACE TO A FEW HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH.

FORECAST PRECIPITATION FOR THE NEXT 48 HOURS...
A WET PERIOD IS PREDICTED FOR THE AREA THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING.
RAINFALL OF 1.50 TO 1.75 INCHES IS PREDICTED AND THE HEAVIEST RAINS
ARE EXPECTED ALONG AN AXIS FOR COLUMBUS, OH TO PITTSBURGH TO
INDIANA, PA. THE ALLEGHENY, BEAVER AND OHIO RIVER BASINS WILL
RECEIVE MOST OF THE RAIN. LESSER AMOUNTS... BELOW 1.00 INCH ARE
EXPECTED FOR THE HEADWATERS OF THE MONONGAHELA RIVER.

RIVER TRENDS...
THE MAIN STEM RIVER LEVELS WILL START TO RISE BY FRIDAY AFTERNOON
WITH THE MOST SIGNIFICANT PERIOD OF RISE EXTENDING INTO SATURDAY
MORNING. WE ARE EXPECTING A RISE OF 8 TO 10 FEET ON THE OHIO. THE
OTHER MAIN STEM RIVER LEVELS WILL SEE RISES OF 2 TO 5 FEET. THE
SMALL STREAMS AND TRIBUTARIES WILL BE NEAR BANKFULL AS EARLY AS
THURSDAY NIGHT.
