HYDROLOGIC STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PITTSBURGH PA
1142 AM EST MON FEB 1 2016

Daily River Forecast

Past 24 hour precipitation...
Light rain and drizzle feller across Eastern Ohio, Western
Pennsylvania and the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia.
Rainfall amounts were 0.10 inches or less.

Forecast precipitation for the next 54 hours...
Basin average rainfall and/or liquid equivalent of snow is
forecast to range from 0.25 to 0.75 inches. Rainfall amounts
are expected to increase from north to south across the region.

River trends...
A general rise on district rivers can be expected due to
snow-melt runoff and the forecast rainfall. Smaller rises are
expected on the Allegheny river and within the Muskingum Basin
then elsewhere as the snow has long since melted in the lower
elevations.

During flooding the latest crest updates may be obtained in river
Flood Warnings /PITFLWPBZ/ or river flood statements /PITFLSPBZ/.
