...USGS REPORTS EARTHQUAKE IN NORTHERN NEW JERSEY...

An earthquake has occurred, centered about 4 miles north of
Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, at approximately 1023 AM local
time, April 5th, 2024.

The USGS has indicated that the preliminary magnitude of the
earthquake was 4.8.

Numerous reports of light shaking have been received from across
our entire region, with locally moderate shaking close to the
epicenter. No damage has been reported.
