.Discussion...

Cooler conditions with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms
are expected mainly for the mountains throughout the rest of this
evening. Critical fire weather conditions are expected for the San
Luis Valley by later in the afternoon through the early evening
tomorrow. Rain and snow showers will spread into the Continental
Divide by later in the day on Sunday and into Monday, while dry and
windy conditions overspread the remainder of southern Colorado
through Wednesday. Critical fire weather conditions will be likely
again for Monday through Wednesday for the San Luis Valley and
southern portions of the southeast plains where fuels are critical.
A cooler and wetter pattern will be possible for late week into next
weekend.

Smoke dispersion is expected to be Poor tonight, but then become
Very Good to Excellent across the mountains and mountain valleys,
and Fair to Very good across the plains, tomorrow. Smoke dispersion
is expected to be very good to excellent across the area again on
Monday.
