.DISCUSSION...
An overall wet and cool pattern is expected into the start of the
weekend, as an upper level system moving overhead provides
periods of rain and snow to the area. This will begin this
afternoon, with coverage of showers increasing this evening into
the overnight hours. Will likely see a diminishing trend by Friday
morning, though scattered showers return in the afternoon.
Through this period, snow water equivalent amounts will range from
one half inch to one inch, with snowfall ranging from 1 to 5
inches with the higher amounts expected at the higher elevations.
For Saturday into early next week, scattered to numerous showers
are anticipated over the entire district. Temperatures will remain
cooler than normal through this period.
