THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PUEBLO HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM
WARNING FOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM
THURSDAY TO 5 AM MST FRIDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER
IN EFFECT.

* LOCATION...EASTERN SAN JUAN MOUNTAINS.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL MOVE ACROSS
  COLORADO CHRISTMAS DAY INTO FRIDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST SNOW
  WILL FALL DURING CHRISTMAS DAY AND EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...10 TO 15 INCHES.

* WIND...GUSTS OVER 25 MPH AT TIMES.

* IMPACT...TRAVEL OVER CUMBRES AND WOLF CREEK PASSES WILL BECOME
  DIFFICULT DUE TO SNOWFALL AND RESULTING SLIPPERY ROADS.

AVOID TRAVEL IN THE WARNING AREA. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO TRAVEL
