...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MST THIS
MORNING...

* LOCATION...THE SUMMIT OF PIKES PEAK.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...SUSTAINED WIND SPEEDS OF 25-35 MPH COMBINED
  WITH THERMOMETER READINGS OF -5 TO -10 WILL CREATE WIND CHILL
  TEMPERATURES OF -25 TO -34 THROUGH 9 AM TODAY.

* IMPACT...RISK OF FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA. TIME TO FROSTBITE AT
  THESE WIND SPEEDS AND TEMPERATURES IS ONLY ABOUT 10 MINUTES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN
FROSTBITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.

IF YOU MUST GO OUTSIDE...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES AND
DRESS IN MULTIPLE LAYERS OF WARM CLOTHING. LIMIT TIME SPENT
OUTDOORS TO JUST A FEW MINUTES.
