WARNING FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 6
AM MST THURSDAY. THIS UPGRADES THE WINTER STORM WATCH THAT WAS IN
EFFECT.

* LOCATION...HUERFANO...LAS ANIMAS AND BACA COUNTIES...INCLUDING
  THE SOUTHERN SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS...WALSENBURG...LA
  VETA...CUCHARA...TRINIDAD...KIM AND SPRINGFIELD.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...A DISTURBANCE FROM WYOMING WILL MERGE WITH
  MOISTURE FROM CALIFORNIA PRODUCING WIDESPREAD SNOWFALL OVER THE
  AREA LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...12 TO 18 INCHES OVER THE SOUTHERN SANGRE DE
  CRISTO MOUNTAINS...6 TO 12 INCHES ACROSS THE LOWER ELEVATIONS.

* WIND...NORTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH.

* IMPACT...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO HEAVY SNOW...LOW
  VISIBILITIES AND ICY OR SNOW COVERED ROADS.
