...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST SUNDAY...

* LOCATION...THE SAN JUAN AND LA GARITA MOUNTAINS ABOVE TEN
  THOUSAND FEET.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...THE JET STREAM WILL BRING AMPLE MOISTURE
  FROM THE PACIFIC INTO THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE...WITH PERIODS OF
  SNOW...HEAVY AT TIMES...EXPECTED THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.
  THE HEAVIEST SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED LATE FRIDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
  EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...TOTAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 10 TO 20 INCHES
  THROUGH EARLY SUNDAY MORNING.

* WIND...WEST TO SOUTHWEST 15 TO 30 MPH.

* IMPACT...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO A COMBINATION OF
  SNOW...BLOWING SNOW...POOR VISIBILITIES AND ICY OR SNOW
  COVERED ROADS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

AVOID TRAVEL IN THE WARNING AREA. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO TRAVEL
IN THE WARNING AREA DURING THE TIME OF THE WARNING...LISTEN TO
THE LATEST WEATHER FORECAST AND CONSIDER TRAVELING AT ANOTHER
TIME OR BY ANOTHER ROUTE. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL IN THE WARNING AREA
