WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 6 AM MDT FRIDAY.

* LOCATION...HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...ANOTHER IN A SERIES OF PACIFIC WEATHER
  SYSTEMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
  EVENING.

* WIND...SOUTH 10 TO 20 MPH.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...4 TO 8 INCHES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THE HEAVIER SNOW WILL FALL AT OR ABOVE TREELINE...AFFECTING MAINLY
THOSE FOLKS IN THE HIGH COUNTRY. MONARCH PASS WILL BECOME SLUSHY.
