COMBINE WITH DEEP MOISTURE POOLING ALONG A NEARLY STATIONARY
FRONT OVER SOUTHERN NORTH CAROLINA TO PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN

THE FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR

* A PORTION OF CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA...INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING
  AREAS...ANSON...CUMBERLAND...HARNETT...HOKE...JOHNSTON...LEE...
   MONTGOMERY...MOORE...RICHMOND...SAMPSON...SCOTLAND...STANLY...
   WAYNE AND WILSON.

* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT

* SOIL MOISTURE CONDITIONS CONTINUE TO BE VERY WET ACROSS THE
  REGION DUE TO RECENT HEAVY RAINS. ADDITIONAL ROUNDS OF SHOWERS
  AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN ARE EXPECTED.
  RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY 3 TO
  4 INCHES POSSIBLE. ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RUNOFF
  RAPIDLY...POSSIBLY PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.
