GUILFORD COUNTY...

AT 1210 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE AN AREA
OF MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN MOVING ACROSS MUCH OF GUILFORD
COUNTY. RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT BETWEEN 1 AND 1.5 INCHES OF
RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE COUNTY DURING THE PAST 3 HOURS WITH
AMOUNTS EXCEEDING 2 INCHES ACROSS NORTHWESTERN GUILFORD COUNTY. THE
RAINFALL WILL LIKELY PRODUCE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN THE
ADVISORY AREA. SOME FLOOD PRONE AREAS INCLUDE ASHLEY CREEK FROM
HOLDEN ROAD TO MERRITT DRIVE...HORSEPEN CREEK NEAR OLD BATTLEGROUND
ROAD...NORTH BUFFALO CREEK AROUND LATHAM PARK...SOUTH BUFFALO AND
RYAN CREEKS IN SOUTH GREENSBORO AND NORTH BUFFALO CREEK IN CENTRAL
GREENSBORO.
