NORTHEASTERN GRANVILLE AND NORTHERN VANCE COUNTIES...

AT 1143 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED ONLY ISOLATED SHOWERS
REMAINING OVER MUCH OF NORTHEAST GRANVILLE AND NORTHWEST VANCE
COUNTIES. HOWEVER...THE RUNOFF OF AREAS OF HEAVY RAINFALL FROM
EARLIER THIS MORNING COULD STILL POSE A MINOR FLOODING THREAT OF
SMALL CREEKS...STREAMS...AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. IF SHOWERS
CONTINUE TO DIMINISH AND NOT REDEVELOP...THE ADVISORY MAY BE
CANCELLED EARLY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG
THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT
TO MINOR FLOODING.
