THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  WILSON COUNTY IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA...
  WAYNE COUNTY IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA...

* UNTIL 1200 AM EDT

* AT 804 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GAUGES INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL
  STREAM FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO ONE INCH OF RAIN HAS
  ALREADY FALLEN.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE
  GOLDSBORO...WILSON...ELM CITY...FREMONT...WALNUT CREEK...LUCAMA...
  STANTONSBURG...BLACK CREEK...PIKEVILLE AND SARATOGA.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ONE TO POSSIBLY AS HIGH AS TWO INCHES IS
EXPECTED OVER THE AREA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.  IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED
ACT QUICKLY.  MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.  DO
NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

TO REPORT FLOODING...HAVE THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY RELAY
YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE.
