THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  NASH COUNTY IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA...
  EASTERN FRANKLIN COUNTY IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA...
  WARREN COUNTY IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA...
  NORTHWESTERN HALIFAX COUNTY IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA...

* UNTIL 100 PM EDT

* AT 1106 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF MODERATE TO
  HEAVY RAINFALL THAT WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN
  THE ADVISORY AREA. UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAVE ALREADY FALLEN.
  ANOTHER HALF TO ONE OF RAIN IS STILL PROBABLE BEFORE THE RAIN
  EXITS THE REGION EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. WARREN COUNTY OFFICIALS
  REPORTED THAT WATER WAS FLOWING ACROSS HIGHWAY 43 NEAR ARCOLA
  THOUGH THE ROAD WAS STILL PASSABLE.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING INCLUDE
  ROCKY MOUNT...ROANOKE RAPIDS...NASHVILLE...WARRENTON...NORLINA...
  DORTCHES...LITTLETON...BAILEY...BUNN AND RED OAK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
