...THE SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM EDT
SUNDAY FOR SOUTHEASTERN JOHNSTON AND CENTRAL WAYNE COUNTIES...

AT 243 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTS THAT RICHARDSON BRIDGE
ROAD NEAR MILL CREEK REMAINS CLOSED DUE TO HIGH WATER OVER THE ROAD.
THIS HIGH WATER IS A RESULT OF RECENT HEAVY RAINS OF THE LAST COUPLE
OF DAYS. HOWEVER... NO ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TODAY.

SEVERAL CREEKS AND STREAMS AROUND THE ADVISORY AREA ARE LIKELY STILL
RUNNING MUCH HIGHER THAN USUAL. MOTORISTS ACROSS JOHNSTON AND WAYNE
COUNTIES SHOULD CONTINUE TO EXERCISE CAUTION... ESPECIALLY AT
NIGHT... AND BE ALERT FOR POSSIBLE WATER FLOWING OVER THE ROAD.

WATER LEVELS HAVE ALREADY BEGUN TO SUBSIDE... AND THIS HIGH WATER
WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY RETREAT OVER THE NEXT 24 HOURS.
