Flood Warning for the following rivers in North Carolina...

  Fishing Creek At Enfield affecting Edgecombe...Halifax and Nash
  Counties
  Lower Little River At Manchester affecting Cumberland County
  Neuse River Near Clayton affecting Johnston County
  Neuse River At Smithfield affecting Johnston County
  Neuse River Near Goldsboro affecting Wayne County
  Tar River At Tarboro affecting Edgecombe County
  Yadkin River At Yadkin College affecting Davidson and Davie
  Counties

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter deep water while driving, do not
attempt to drive through. Turn around, dont drown.

The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Fishing Creek At Enfield.
* from Friday morning to Sunday evening, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  9:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 6.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Friday morning and continue to rise to near 16.7 feet by early
  Saturday morning.The river will fall below flood stage by late
  Sunday morning.
* Impact...At 16.0 feet, Minor overflow occurs on both banks.

  The Lower Little River At Manchester.
* from Friday morning to late Saturday night, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  8:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 11.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* The river is expected to rise above flood stage by late
  Friday morning and continue to rise to near 18.5 feet by Friday
  evening.The river will fall below flood stage by Saturday
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Flood stage. Minor flood problems begin in
  Fort Bragg near the water treatment plant.

  The Neuse River Near Clayton.
* from Friday morning to Saturday morning, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 3.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Friday morning and continue to rise to near 9.2 feet by Friday
  early afternoon.The river will fall below flood stage by Friday
  before midnight.
* Impact...At 9.0 feet, Minor overflow occurs on both banks. Water
  reaches the edge of the Neuse River Greenway trail.

  The Neuse River At Smithfield.
* from Friday morning to late Saturday night, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 9.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by late
  Friday morning and continue to rise to near 15.7 feet by early
  Saturday morning.The river will fall below flood stage by Saturday
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 15.0 feet, Minor flood stage. Flooding begins along the
  Neuse riverwalk. Water nears the base of the holding tank at the
  water treatment plant.

  The Neuse River Near Goldsboro.
* from Saturday morning until further notice, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 9.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Saturday morning and continue to rise to near 19.5 feet by Sunday
  early afternoon. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 19.5 feet, Ferry Bridge Road begins to flood.

  The Tar River At Tarboro.
* from Friday evening until further notice, or until the warning is
  cancelled.
* At  8:15 PM Wednesday the stage was 7.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Friday before midnight and continue to rise to near 23.5 feet by
  Sunday evening.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet, Moderate flooding begins in Tarboro. River
  Road is underwater and flooding begins on east Wilson and St David
  Streets.

* At  8:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 8.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage by
  Thursday morning and continue to rise to near 22.3 feet by early
  Friday morning.The river will fall below flood stage by Friday
  early afternoon.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, The upper campsites at the Thousand Trails
  Preserve off US64 begin to flood.
