This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

   Flood Watch.

Showers will increase in coverage and intensity overnight, primarily
over the western and southern Piedmont.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

   Flood Watch.

Widespread showers with heavy rain will occur across most of central
NC Monday and Monday night. The saturated soil will lead to runoff,
causing creeks and streams to quickly fill and run out of their
banks.

In addition, there is a chance of strong to marginally severe
thunderstorms in the southern coastal plain region, mainly along and
east of a Laurinburg to Goldsboro line late Monday and Monday night.
The main severe weather threat is from isolated damaging wind gusts.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed Monday and Monday night. Spotters
are encouraged to report rainfall totals in excess of three inches.
