This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms with locally heavy rain are expected,
especially over southeastern sections of central North Carolina this
afternoon and evening. The area of concern is generally from
Laurinburg and Fayetteville to Goldsboro. 1 to locally 2 inches of
rain may produce minor flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Increasingly hot and humid weather is expected across the state mid
to late week. By Friday and Saturday, highs in the mid to upper 90s
are expected, along with heat indices between 105 to possibly 110 in
the southeast.
