This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms will be capable of
producing locally strong to damaging wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph,
mainly before 10 AM. While the threat is low, an isolated tornado
will also be possible. Strong southwesterly winds will then gust more
frequently with the passage of a cold front, strongest between 30
and 40 mph, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
