...INCREASED FIRE DANGER IN EFFECT TUESDAY...

In coordination with NC Forest Service, an Increased Fire Danger
Statement has been issued for Tuesday for much of central North
Carolina, including the northern Piedmont, Coastal Plain and most
of the Sandhills. In the affected areas, southwesterly wind gusts
ranging from 20-25 mph will coincide with low relative humidity
of 20 to 30 percent and dry fuels to create elevated fire weather
conditions.

Refer to your local burn-permitting authority on whether you may
burn. If you do burn, exercise extreme caution.
