...AREAS OF DENSE FOG CONTINUE THIS MORNING...

WIDESPREAD FOG CONTINUES ACROSS THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE
PIEDMONT...SANDHILLS AND COASTAL PLAIN THIS MORNING. THE FOG WILL
BE LOCALLY DENSE...REDUCING VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN A QUARTER
OF A MILE IN SOME AREAS. THE FOG WILL DISSIPATE AS RAIN SPREADS IN
FROM THE SOUTHWEST THROUGH 500 AM....THOUGH VISIBILITY WILL STILL
BE REDUCED IN AREAS OF HEAVIER RAIN. EARLY MORNING MOTORISTS
SHOULD USE CAUTION AND BE PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING
VISIBILITY.
