SINCE SUNRISE...DENSE FOG HAS DEVELOPED OVER PORTIONS OF WAKE
COUNTY. ALTHOUGH DENSE FOG IS EXPECTED TO BE BRIEF...LIFTING AND
SCATTERING OUT BY 9 AM OR 10 AM AT LATEST...COMMUTERS ARE
ENCOURAGED TO SLOW DOWN AND LEAVE PLENTY OF FOLLOWING DISTANCE...
PARTICULARLY AT INTERSECTIONS AND ON HIGHWAY ONRAMPS AND OFFRAMPS
WHERE ACCIDENTS ARE MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR.

LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY DENSE FOG DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE INCLUDE
PORTIONS OF INTERSTATE 440...INTERSTATE 540...HIGHWAY 64...AND
HIGHWAY 1 IN CENTRAL WAKE COUNTY.
