...Slow moving thunderstorms will produce heavy rainfall over
extreme southern Forsyth county and northern Davidson County through
315 PM EDT...

At 223 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstorms approaching
the Yadkin river, moving east at 25 mph.

Torrential rainfall, minor flooding and wind gusts up to 40 mph will
be possible with these storms, particularly along Highway 52 and
Highway 64 in northwest Davidson county.

Locations impacted include...
Thomasville, Clemmons, Bermuda Run, Welcome, Arcadia, and other
locations along Highway 52 and Highway 64 in northwest Davidson
county.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms. Drivers are
urged to slow down and exercise extreme caution, especially on
Highway 52 and Highway 64 in northwest Davidson county.
