EASTERN GUILFORD AND WESTERN CHATHAM COUNTIES UNTIL 415 AM EST...

At 321 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a line of heavy rain
showers along a line extending from near Lawsonville to near
Asheboro to 7 miles south of Albemarle. Movement was northeast at 55
mph. A shower currently north of Troy is exhibiting some rotation.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph and heavy rain will be possible with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Greensboro, Burlington, Asheboro, Graham, Troy, Siler City, North
Carolina Zoo, Mebane, Biscoe and Seagrove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter in a nearby building or vehicle. Wind gusts as high as
50 mph are capable of knocking down small or weakened trees and
blowing around outdoor objects.

Doppler radar has indicated weak rotation with this storm. If the
storm intensifies and rotation strengthens, a warning may need to be
issued.
