...A strong thunderstorm will affect portions of northern Chatham...
southern Durham...southeastern Alamance...northwestern Wake and
southern Orange Counties Until 215 AM EDT...

At 120 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Siler City, moving east at 45 mph.

Wind gusts up to 45 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, Siler City, Carrboro,
Rdu International, Apex and Morrisville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Given the saturated soil from recent rain, wind gusts associated
with this storm may uproot a few trees.
