...Hot and Humid across the Sandhills and southern Coastal
Plain....

Early afternoon temperatures in the lower 90s coupled with high
humidity will create heat index values in the 100 to 104 degrees
range. Prolong exposure to these conditions or anyone performing
strenuous activity may experience symptoms related to heat
exhaustion or possibly heat stroke.

Remember to take frequent breaks out of the sun and to drink
plenty of water. Scattered thunderstorms are expected across this
region by mid-afternoon which will help to break the heat.
