PORTIONS OF HOKE COUNTY UNTIL 157 PM EDT...

AT 124 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SLOW-MOVING THUNDERSTORM 7 MILES SOUTHEAST OF ABERDEEN...OR 8 MILES
NORTHWEST OF RAEFORD. THIS STORM IS NEARLY STATIONARY AND HAS
ALREADY PRODUCED OVER AN INCH OF RAIN IN THE PAST HOUR.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
ASHLEY HEIGHTS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND MAY LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

VERY HEAVY RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THIS
STORM. PROLONGED HEAVY RAIN WILL RESULT IN PONDING OF WATER ON
ROADWAYS...STANDING WATER IN LOW LYING AREAS...AND MINOR FLOODING OF
CREEKS AND STREAMS. DRIVERS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTRA
CAUTION TO AVOID HYDROPLANING.
