...Areas of fog developing across the northwest Piedmont...

Fog was developing across the northwest Piedmont including the
Triad region with some spots reporting the visibility below a
mile. The fog is expected to increase in coverage through the
night, with pockets of dense fog possible. If the dense fog
becomes widespread, a dense fog advisory may become necessary.

Be on the lookout for sudden changes in visibility. Visibility
can drop quickly over short distances, especially near rivers,
lakes and other low-lying areas.
