...AREAS OF DENSE FOG ACROSS PORTIONS OF CENTRAL NORTH
CAROLINA...

BREAKS IN THE CLOUD COVER HAVE ALLOWED AREAS OF FOG TO DEVELOP
EARLY THIS MORNING ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE CENTRAL NC. THE FOG IS
MOST WIDESPREAD IN A CORRIDOR FROM HENDERSON AND ROXBORO SOUTH TO
CHAPEL HILL AND SANFORD TO SILER CITY AND WADESBORO. VISIBILITIES
FREQUENTLY RANGE AROUND A MILE OR LESS WITH A FEW LOCATIONS
REPORTING DENSE FOG WITH VISIBILITIES LESS THAN A HALF MILE. THE
FOG WILL LIKELY LINGER UNTIL AFTER SUNRISE.

DRIVERS ON AREA ROADWAYS SHOULD EXERCISE EXTRA CAUTION...AND BE
PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING VISIBILITY CONDITIONS. SLOW
DOWN...USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS...AND LEAVE EXTRA SPACE BETWEEN
VEHICLES.
