Areas of dense fog will briefly expand across the southern and
western piedmont this morning, before dispersing by 9 am or 10 am.
Fluctuations in visibility, down to a couple of hundred feet or
less, will result in hazardous driving conditions.

If driving, slow down, use low beam headlights, and leave plenty
of following distance. Exercise additional caution at intersections
and highway onramps and offramps, where accidents are more likely
to occur.
