AT 406 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED AN
AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM
ROSEBORO TO GOLDSBORO...MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. MINOR FLOODING AND
PONDING ON ROADWAYS IS POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
GOLDSBORO...CLINTON...MOUNT OLIVE...FREMONT...WALNUT CREEK...
HARRELLS...ROSEBORO...PIKEVILLE...GARLAND AND NEWTON GROVE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL QUICKLY REDUCE VISIBILITY AND RESULT IN
PONDING OF WATER ON ROADWAYS. DRIVERS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE
EXTRA CAUTION TO AVOID HYDROPLANING. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
