 ...A cluster of showers with gusty winds will cross the
southern half of the Triangle area through 645 PM EST...

At 605 PM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of showers along
a line extending from Chapel Hill to 11 miles south of Graham to
near Randleman. Movement was east southeast at 50 mph.

Wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible with the heavier showers.

Locations impacted include...
The west and south sides of Raleigh, the south side of Durham, Cary,
Chapel Hill, Asheboro, Pittsboro, Siler City, Apex and Garner.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter in a nearby building or vehicle. Wind gusts as high as
40 mph are capable of knocking down tree limbs and blowing around
trash cans, and other light outdoor objects.
