...Significant Rain May Trigger Mud and Rock Slides in the Wind
River Canyon Today...

An upper level low pressure system will bring rain below 8000 feet
across the Owl Creek Mountains and Wind River Canyon today. The
heaviest rain is expected over the Wind River Canyon this
afternoon with amounts expected to range from 0.25 to 0.50 inches.
People planning travel through the Wind River Canyon today should
be prepared for possible rock and mudslides, and possible road
closures.
