WIND RIVER MOUNTAINS EAST-

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS THE AREA EARLY THIS
EVENING. AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT...STRONG WEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP
AT SPEEDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 45 MPH. STRONGER
SPEEDS ARE QUITE POSSIBLE ALONG THE EAST SLOPE OF THE WIND RIVER
MOUNTAINS.

AS THE COLD FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE AREA BETWEEN 5 PM AND
9 PM...WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL REACH THEIR PEAK. EXPECT WIND
SPEEDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 50 TO 55 MPH QUITE POSSIBLE.
WINDS WILL BEGIN TO DIMINISH LATER IN THE EVENING. THESE STRONGEST
WINDS WILL LIKELY BE FELT FIRST ALONG THE EAST SLOPE OF THE WIND
RIVER MOUNTAINS...DUBOIS AREA AND THE LANDER FOOTHILLS. AS THE
FRONT MOVES ACROSS THE WIND RIVER BASIN...VERY STRONG NORTHWEST
WINDS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS RIVERTON AND SURROUNDING AREA.
