...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 1212 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles southeast of Hole In The Wall, which is 19 miles south of
Kaycee, moving east at 15 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm as well as locally heavy rainfall and frequent lightning.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Johnson and northeastern Natrona Counties, including the following
locations: Salt Creek Country Club, Willow Creek School and Midwest
School.

This includes Interstate 25 between mile markers 220 and 239.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
