FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST VIRGINIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHARLESTON WV
941 PM EST FRI MAR 6 2015

.DISCUSSION...
AFTER A FEW AFTERNOON FLURRIES...ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE PREVAILS
THROUGH TONIGHT WITH MAINLY SCATTERED CLOUDS AND VERY COLD
TEMPERATURES. A WARM FRONT WILL BRING WARMER TEMPERATURES
SATURDAY...AND SOME CLOUDS MAINLY IN THE NORTH...BUT NO
PRECIPITATION.

A WEAK COLD FRONT MAY BRING SNOW SHOWERS TO THE NORTHERN WEST
VIRGINIA MOUNTAINS SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY...BUT WILL DO LITTLE TO
STUNT THE MODERATION IN TEMPERATURES...AND THE SNOW MELT WILL SLOWLY
INCREASE.

SEVERAL STORMS SYSTEMS WILL SKIRT BY TO THE SOUTH NEXT WEEK. THESE
MAY PUSH LIGHT RAIN INTO SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA AND SOUTHERN WEST
VIRGINIA.
