.DISCUSSION...

High pressure remains in control through Tuesday night. Low
relative humidities and abundant sunshine from this afternoon give
way to increasing mostly mid to high level cloudiness and cooling
temperatures tonight. Forecast high temperatures for Tuesday are
a little cooler than today, which leads to higher/less ideal
relative humidities ranging in the 40 to 50 percent range. Winds
will still be light southerly Tuesday, but with better transport
winds and ventilation expected.

Tuesday may offer the only window for any additional early
prescribed burning through the rest of the week, though relative
humidities are more marginal than today. More unsettled conditions
then develop for Tuesday night into Wednesday with overcast skies
and increasing chances for showers. The best chance of rain is
late Tuesday night into early Wednesday, although a significant
wetting rainfall does not appear likely. High temperatures in the
low 60s on Wednesday yield lowest relative humidities in the mid
50s to 70 percent range. Winds do appear to be on the light side
Tuesday night through Wednesday.

The trend of seeing warm and moist conditions under overall light
winds will linger through late in the week before a cold front
arrives by early in the weekend. This front may bring the next
chance of measurable wetting rainfall outside of scattered late
week showers. Gusty northwest winds and lower humidity will follow
the front for the rest of next weekend.
