24 hour basin average rainfall ending 8:00 AM Wednesday was between a
quarter inch to a half inch through the western New River Valley and through
portions of Southeast West Virginia who saw an extended period of showers and
storms. Forecast rainfall ending 8:00 AM tomorrow is less than a tenth of an inch...
mainly east of the Blue Ridge where storms are expected to remain for most of Wednesday
afternoon and evening.
Impacts on area river stages over the next three days will be minimal...with little to no
height rises expected.
