...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT...
A large area of showers and thunderstorms continues to develop
ahead of the cold front moving into Western Louisiana. The cold
front is about to move into Shreveport and Bossier city. The
heaviest thunderstorms are working in ahead of the front over much
of Louisiana, especially South of I-20 and could bring gusty
winds to 50 mph. Also, these areas of heavy rainfall may bring one
to two inches along the I-49 corridor in a short period of time
may result in ponding of water on roadways and in low lying areas.
Motorists should use extreme caution if driving in storms with
heavy rain and strong winds.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND
SOUTHWEST ARKANSAS PORTIONS OF THE AREA...UNTIL 7 AM CDT...
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms continue to develop
across the area early this morning along the cold front now
pushing into southwest Arkansas. The ground is soaked and any
heavy downpours will result in ponding of water on roadways and in
low lying areas. Motorists should use extreme caution if driving
in storms with heavy rain and strong winds.
